Raphael · Archangel — Angel of Healing and Guide of Travelers

Archangel of Judaism and Christianity. His name means 'God Heals' (Rapha-el). The angel who heals the sick and guides travelers safely. He is famed for the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit, in which he accompanied young Tobias in human form and healed his father Tobit's blindness. Medicine, herbs, and both bodily and spiritual healing fall within his domain.

Metatron · Scribe of Heaven — Voice of God and Recorder of Divine Acts

One of the highest angels in Jewish Kabbalah and apocryphal tradition. Called 'the One Who Stands Closest to God' and the 'Lesser YHWH,' he is the celestial scribe who records every event in the Book of Eternity. One tradition holds that the patriarch Enoch was transfigured after his ascent and became Metatron. He is depicted as a colossal being of light with thirty-six to seventy-two pairs of wings.

Gabriel · Archangel — Messenger of God, Bearer of the Annunciation

Archangel of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. His name means 'Strength of God' (Gabri-el). The supreme messenger who delivers God's word to humanity: he interpreted visions for Daniel and announced the conception of Jesus to Mary (the Annunciation). In Islam he is Jibril, the angel who delivered the Quran to Muhammad.
