Cinder Sprite
Small Flame Spirit Dwelling in Embers
The cinder sprite combines the English folkloric 'sprite' (small fae spirit) tradition with the Latin 'cinis' (ember) concept. Tiny winged humanoids dwelling in dying embers, they manifest most powerfully in the moment before a fire fully extinguishes. Alongside the salamander, they appear widely as familiar flame spirits in fantasy games and fiction.
起源
The cinder sprite is a small fire spirit blending the British folk tradition of 'sprites' with the Latin notion of cinis (cinder). It emerged in Victorian fantasy literature, depicted as a household guardian dwelling in dying embers and tending the next spark.

故事
Appears as a guardian of home and hearth, a symbol of cosy domesticity and a frequent companion of the writer's fire in fairy tales and fantasy literature.
